Impact Report 2024-25

Step by Step tackles youth homelessness across six counties in the South of England through supported lodgings, supported accommodation, fostering, counselling and advice services. In 2024/25 it supported 1,481 young people, achieved Ofsted registration for its Supported Lodgings service, and recorded its best-ever counselling waiting times.

  • 95% of young people surveyed agreed their counselling sessions had met their needs, with average waiting times cut from 55 to 26 days
