YMCA Taunton Impact Report 2023/2024

YMCA Taunton is a community charity in Taunton, Somerset delivering youth work, family support, food provision and health and wellbeing services from its community centre. In 2023/24 it recorded 5,431 young people interactions, provided 9,627 community meals, and saw volunteer hours grow by 77% to 1,345. The charity secured a £2.1 million Youth Investment Fund grant for major facility improvements, ran 384 sports sessions for young people, and supported 50 young carers with 616 session interactions. Its Ofsted-rated Good preschool educated 50 children, with an 11% rise in attendance.
