YMCA Leicestershire Impact Report 2022–23

YMCA Leicestershire provides supported housing and wraparound services for young people aged 16–25 experiencing homelessness in Leicester, including unaccompanied asylum-seeking children. In 2022–23 it housed 183 young people across 109 rooms, delivered 6,349 visits through its YASC drop-in service, and ran the Chance 2 Change street mentoring programme with 460 sessions for young people vulnerable to serious violent crime. It also operates a children's home, a heritage youth employment programme and The Y Theatre — named Best Large Venue at the Leicester Comedy Festival Awards — which welcomed 21,146 visitors across 192 events.
