YMCA Derbyshire Annual Impact Report 2023

YMCA Derbyshire provides supported housing and wraparound services to people experiencing homelessness across Derby and Derbyshire. In 2022 it supported 272 individuals, housing 180+ people every night, and generated £2.44 of social value for every £1 invested. Key outcomes include 52 residents gaining employment, 61 progressing in formal education, 126 accessing counselling, and an 18% reduction in anxiety and depression among residents. The charity operates multiple pathways including an accredited Foyer for young people, the STAR probation resettlement project, and family emergency provision, with a 60-unit affordable housing development (The Foundry) under construction for completion in 2024.
