Toynbee Hall is a multi-purpose charity based in Tower Hamlets, East London, founded in 1884. In 2024/25, working through its Debt Free Advice partnership and direct services, the charity helped over 16,000 people become £27 million better off. It provided direct debt advice to 5,000 people, legal advice to 296 clients, benefits support to 397 people in Tower Hamlets and 525 in the City of London, and engaged 200 older adults through its LinkAge Plus community programme and 272 children through its play sessions.
