Young people trained
More than 20,000 young people received media literacy training in schools and other settings during the report period.
Educators upskilled
More than 3,000 educators and frontline professionals engaged in CPD programmes, including 1,054 professionals trained in an Ofcom-commissioned prebunking programme.
Confidence boosted
Participants' confidence in implementing prebunking interventions rose from 9% to 97% following training.
Media literacy was embedded into the National Curriculum in England from primary school level following Shout Out UK's policy advocacy as secretariat of the APPG on Political and Media Literacy.
