Empower Youth Zones operates open access youth centres in Manchester and Salford, serving young people from the most deprived areas. In 2025–26 it recorded 84,346 visits, engaged 7,998 members (76% from the top 20% most deprived), and provided 70,000+ free hot meals. The charity provides safe spaces, activities and food security for young people in urban areas facing deprivation.
