MAMA Youth Project Impact Report 2022

MAMA Youth Project is a London-based charity training motivated young adults from underrepresented and disadvantaged backgrounds into sustained media employment. In 2022 it trained 100 young people across TV production and digital media programmes, with 83% of TV Production alumni still employed in media six months later. Trainees produce content for broadcast on Sky Arts through BAFTA award-winning production company Licklemor, gaining their first industry credit. The charity's 600-strong alumni pool spans roles at Sky, BBC, ITV, IMG and Banijay, and its Inclusion Awareness Workshops are delivered to media companies across the industry.
