London Sport Impact Report 2023

London Sport is one of 43 Active Partnerships in England, existing to help all Londoners live longer, healthier and happier lives through physical activity, with a focus on the most deprived communities. The Summer 2023 impact report covers a year of significant funding distribution — £530,000 via the Together Fund to 78 community projects, £1.6 million to 176 schools through Opening School Facilities, and the launch of the £19.5 million Go! London Fund. The Space for Girls programme created 15 free activity hubs for women and girls in underserved areas. London Sport also supports the sector through its Insight Portal, Active London conference, Sport Tech Hub, and social prescribing training, working across all 32 London boroughs with priority focus on Barking & Dagenham, Brent, Lambeth, Lewisham, Southwark, Tower Hamlets and Westminster.
