LFC Foundation Impact Report 2024/25

LFC Foundation is the official charity of Liverpool Football Club. In 2024/25 — its fifth year of independently verified impact reporting — the Foundation supported 145,617 people across six programme areas: Sport and Physical Activity, Education and Life Skills, Health and Wellbeing, Youth Interventions, Employment and Training, and Community Engagement. Total social value reached £80.32 million (SROI £10.28:£1), with £48.89 million in healthcare savings alone. 95% of social value was generated within the Liverpool City Region. The Foundation's cumulative five-year social value now stands at £364.79 million and over half a million people have been supported since 2020/21. A new 2025–30 strategy targets 500,000 beneficiaries per season and expansion to 10+ countries.

  • Gender gap between male and female participants narrowed from 40% in 2020/21 to 13.9% in 2024/25; 58% of participants from the top 20% most deprived areas; 11.5% identified as having a disability; 22% from ethnic minority groups
  • Three peer-reviewed academic publications produced in 2024/25 adding knowledge in youth interventions, cardiovascular health and youth social action; 91% of Sound Minds participants felt calmer; 160 players across 18 teams at the 6th Annual Pride Football Tournament; 1,547 participants received dental screening with 558 referred for further treatment
