The Fylde Rugby Community Foundation uses rugby to improve health, wellbeing and life skills across Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre. In 2024-25, 6,000 children received Primary Tag Rugby across 64 schools; 372 children took part in the Rugby Reading Champions programme across 22 schools; 133 young people were supported through the Mentoring and Rugby programme in 11 schools; 2,214 children attended multi-sports camps; 600 girls were introduced to rugby across 8 schools; and 75+ people participated in Walking Rugby across 4 venues.
