Our Impact 2024

Durham Cricket Foundation uses cricket to reach and raise up communities across the North East. In 2024 — its first impact report — the Foundation delivered 3,631 hours in schools, reaching 28% of all primary schools in its boundaries; 74 whole school programmes were delivered including 2,632 pupils in SEND schools. Free summer camps provided 808 children with cricket and healthy meals. Street Cricket in Sunderland (86% diverse participants) has run since 2018. Walking Cricket improved mental health for 65% and friendship for 80% of participants. Arts and Crafts groups at Chester-le-Street saw 100% of participants report improved mental health.
