The Royal College of Surgeons of England is a registered charity and professional membership body established for the study and promotion of the art and science of surgery. In 2024/25 the College delivered over 680 courses, expanded its exam offer globally, launched an Extended Reality Lab for immersive surgical training, and introduced a new Code of Conduct to strengthen professional culture. Total income rose 27% to £43.7 million and total reserves stand at £144 million. The College also supported NHS policy on surgical hubs, robotic surgery and postgraduate training reform.
