Kidney Care UK is the leading kidney patient support charity in the UK, providing patient support and advocacy, counselling, grants and financial advice, trusted patient information and campaigning for better kidney care. One in 10 people in the UK have chronic kidney disease. Its Annual Report 2024 records £1,890,431 of financial gains realised for patients across all financial support mechanisms, 1,544 counselling sessions supporting 273 people, over 300,000 patient information leaflets distributed through its partnership with the UK Kidney Association, almost 120,000 people completing a kidney health check, website visitors up over 40% to just shy of 1.5 million, and its support model extended to Scotland and several English regions covering nearly 9,000 dialysis patients.
