The Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) is an international professional membership body and registered charity, founded in 1818, that promotes and advances civil engineering worldwide. With over 92,000 members across more than 150 countries, ICE supports professional qualification, education, knowledge sharing and infrastructure policy. In 2025, the institution supported around 12,000 early career engineers and awarded over 2,000 professional qualifications, while continuing to grow its representation of women in Fellowship.
