About

Flyers Charities introduces children to hockey through the Learn to Play Rookie Program, free Try Hockey sessions, including all-girls sessions, and Learn to Play Ball Hockey, and revitalises local rinks and play spaces. It supports young players through the Bernie Parent Goalie Development Program, the Flyers Cup and tournament scholarships, and promotes wellness in schools through Flyers World and Flyers Recess. Its cancer work includes grants to local nonprofits, Hockey Fights Cancer and Building Hope for Kids home renovations, and it backs adaptive hockey for sled, blind and veteran players. Events such as the Gritty 5K and the Flyers Wives Carnival help fund it all.
