About

Through Devon Moving Together, Active Devon works with communities to make movement part of everyday life, from early years to later life. Children learn to walk safely and independently through Walkability, adults gain confidence on a bike through cycle training, and trained volunteers lead Wellbeing Walks. Live Longer Better supports people with long-term health conditions, while Opening School Facilities, the School Games, Active to Thrive in Plymouth, Torbay on the Move and the Torbay Workplace Active Challenge reach people where they live, learn and work.

Key Metrics

Key Metric 1 2,344 primary-aged children took part in the Walkability programme, learning to walk safely and independently.
