About

Action for Children is a UK children's charity that takes action so children don't miss out on a safe and happy childhood. It gives children and young people protection and practical help, and campaigns for lasting change. It works across four core service areas: family support (family support services, early help and family hubs, nurseries and out of school clubs, youth, mental health and young carers' services, and early intervention for children who are criminally exploited), children in care (children's homes, youth housing support and fostering), disabled children (short breaks and homes for disabled children and young people), and online services (Parent Talk and Sidekick). Registered charity 1097940 (England and Wales) and SC038092 (Scotland).
