Alternative Routes Impact Report 2025-2026

Aberlour's Alternative Routes Impact Report 2025-2026 covers the third year of its CashBack-funded service in Dumfries and Galloway, which helps young people at risk of antisocial behaviour, offending or reoffending in Dumfries, Annan and Stranraer. The service reached its target, supporting 352 young people since March 2023, including 105 participants in 2025-26, plus 66 parents, carers, siblings and grandparents. Across all three years, 61% of participants feel less inclined to take part in antisocial or criminal behaviour, and 48% report an improved relationship with school. The report includes case studies and a whole-family, relationship-based approach delivered with local schools and the Youth Justice Team.
